I got these guidelines for waterfowl regs for the 2008 season last night at the San Diego commissions meeting. I was under the impression that we couldn't get more than 3 Pintail. Actually we can get up to 7. I would be very happy with at least 2...... There also a proposal for an extended white goose season and increase of dark geese.

The Fish and Game commissions meeting is June 26 & 27th.

Wow. That's kinda like tonights forcast..."Not very dark to very dark, followed by widely scattered sunlight in the morning...or not."

Thanks for the post Steve. I'll plan for...uh...many ducks...or...not so many. Why do I get the feeling that with all that's been said there, nothing's been said at all? Am I reading this wrong?

Steve, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the post and hope for the best.

dayum I'm gettin old, I can barely read the left one.

How long is the Imperial County extended snow season on private land Steve? 1 month? Why just private land? Because of the fed requirements? AZ requirenments?

    Good questions Jesse.

I imagine that's what we'll be discussed at the meetings. The white goose extended season says, one week after regular season. I think it's only public land because they want the Snows to stay off of alfalfa fields and stay on the wildlife refuges. Of course, that's why they left the refuges, they ate all the food on them..........
