"Despite our ever-changing, ever-indignant world with its growing ignorance of and indifference to the ways of the wild, I remain a predator, pitying those who revel in artificiality and synthetic success while regarding me and my kind as relics of a time and place no longer valued or understood. I stalk a real world of dark wood and tall grass stirred by a restless wind blowing across sunlit water and beneath star-strewn sky. And on those occasions when I choose to kill,....I do so by choice, quickly, and with the learned efficiency of a skilled hunter." -- M. R. James

    * taking the risk of being classified as young and easily excitable *
This looks really cool: low pressure, pretty good velocity in a nice form factor.
This could make for an excellent deer/speed goat rifle - I would probably wait and see how much momentum it gets, but with lots of good bullets available for both hunting and target ... ahh I guess I am a little bit of a sucker for new toys.

Sounds like more of the .260 to me. The .260 is a great little round as is the 6.5x55. I see no reason to duplicate them ad naseum!! Can you say " Sell more ammo & rifles to the American hunter?
