Hunter's Handbook TV Goes Air Rifling

10/16/07

This week's Hunter's Handbook TV expert, Daisy's Joe Murfin, tells us all about the different airguns and their capabilities and we visit a 4-H Shooting Team as they put their training to work in team competition. From the venerable Red Ryder to Avanti match competition rifles, you'll see them all.

Tune in this Tuesday or Thursday at 8:30 AM (ET) and Sunday at 7:30AM (ET) on Versus Network.

As any experienced hunter knows, a successful hunt starts long before the season begins. Whether it is sighting in your rifle, preparing for a hunting camp or packing a survival kit, learning the "how-to" of a hunt is essential. Hunter's Handbook TV is completely dedicated to teaching the skills a successful hunter needs.

Now in its fourth season, the show not only promotes safety in the field and on the range, but gives viewers in-depth information and instruction on a broad array of hunting disciplines. Following episodes will include experts on hunting with handguns, the proper selection of hunting rifles and shotguns, boating safety for waterfowlers, scents and scent elimination and many other subjects.

Each segment of the show is enhanced with field footage, demonstrating the instructional and educational presentations from the visiting experts, making the learning experience interesting and easy to comprehend. Each episode ends with a "Safety Tip of the Week" from the International Hunter Education Association.
