###Went to the woods to collect my Camera and feeder to relocate to closer area,While walking in after my cam i looked over and saw a buck standing looking at me,he was a nice 6 point in velvet with a spread wider than his ears and brow tines as tall as his ears, still in velvet of course, went on,when i came back out i seen him agian about 300 yards from the first sighting.
###Then driving home i seen 13 deer 4 of those being a buck, its been a good day to see deer.but really hot and muggy.
###Now that im a single guy with time on my hands to hunt this fall i would really like to meet and hunt with a few of you fellers.
###SuperR ill be down to your neck of the woods sometime soon.we can do some fishing

I'm new to this whitetail deer hunting. I'm mainly use to spot and stalk, or just pure road hunting(spotting from the truck, then stalking). I just put my stand out last Monday, I didnt see any deer that day, but have seen them in the area since Turkey season. I'm just wondering how long I can hang in a stand. I set up on a neighbors property, just inside the tree line, adjacent to a corn crop and bean crop. There are a few track going in and out of there. Hoping I set up in a good area. Not much time to really scout it out, I have been told that the majority of the scouting happens right after rifle season. and another neighbor pretty much has the prime areas pegged and his stands up. I still can't wait to get out there in Oct. though.

Trying to get another stand from a guy at work, he wont be archery hunting this yr. then I will place it ###further into the wooded area. Right now I have the one stand on the treeline at the cropfields edge
