Do these camera's go into a sleep mode were it takes several seconds to wake up?
I had a i-390 and sold it because it had around a 5-7 second wake up.

I think everyone is reporting about a 3 second trigger. I have 2 of the 390s and like it fine as I can hook a 12V external to it and the picture quality is pretty good. The trigger time wasn't an issue since I put the cam out over bait. If you position the cam facing up or down a trail 6 seconds is plenty if the animal is walking. The Stealths have a pretty good board for sensing. I have many shots of animals 45 ft. away and the flash will reach out that far easy.

You are right, it is a 6V. I have another Stealth that takes a 12 and get the two confused. Luckily just on a message board and not in the field.

Not to change the subject but anyone know where to find a security bracket for the Stealth i450? I looked on their website and they don't mention anything about a bracket. I know they exist because I saw a i450 combo today and it had a bracket.

Just go to a hardware store and get some bar stock and make one. Take the cam in and try the different widths to see if it will go into the slot. Cut it so that 4 inches stick out both sides and then get a Master Lock Python cable lock to insert into the holes that you will have to drill out. The whole deal including the lock should cost you 25.00. The cable lock will allow you to cinch the cam tight against a tree.
