Can anyone please show me a good place in Orange County Califorina where I can take my family and kids to see grunion run? They suppose to run next week June 1-3 as published in dfg website. I've heard of them but never been to one because I don't know where to start.

    Thanks much in advance.

I've seen people in Huntington collecting them. That was around Bolsa Chica-Dog beach area. I ve heard but am not 100% sure but they seem to like the darker area beaches where the city lights don't light up the beach that much.Never done it myself but I've seen tons of flashlights when the season is on.

    Thanks guys.
I took my kids down to Huntington Beach last night. We saw some grunions, not a lot, but the kids had a blast chasing those little fishes. I didn't know they can be that fast on sand?
Now I understand what they mean by the term "Grunion Run". Grunion is the fish, and run is we run after them. We worked up a sweat. We didn't even feel the cold even we were soaked and wet.

Thanks, we had a lot of fun.
