    Talking

I was toying with bringing the bow, but the freezer is needing a refill of dead animal.

Sako .30-06 for the ridge tops.
Winchester Timber Carbine .444 Marlin for the beds.
Taurus Tracker .44 mag if needed.

    H & K in .308 for the ridge tops.
Marlin guide gun in 45/70 for stalking
Deciding between Colt Delta in 10mm or Ruger redhawk in .44 in case I get a hog early and I'm just along for support for my boy.

Well, since my frickin' .325wsm ain't never gonna show up (apparently), I'll be toting the Savage again. not that I mind, since that 30-06 has proven to be a pig killer... but I sure wish my new toy was here!

Will, of course, have the .44 mag Blackhawk... and I'd like to have one inside 50 yards so I can use the handcannon. Outside 50 yards, I'm not messing around. 30-06 all the way.

Seriously thinking about my wheelie bow and the .41 mag. Anyone want to do a sidepot for pistols this year?

BTW Speck, short mags are dead, keep at it with the '06

Sidepot? Heck, we don't even have a regular pot going yet.

    But I'm in.

No bow for me... I'll do that the next weekend (June 1-3) over on the North Side.

My parents have an old picture of my Dad giving my Mom a kiss, while holding a brand new Mannlicher Schoenauer 30-06 that she had just given him for their very first wedding anniversary. Now, fifty years later, with my Dad is getting to old to hunt, he handed it down to me. This comming pig hunt will be my first hunt for pigs, and my first time hunting with my Dad's gun. I'll be doing my best to make him proud by comming home with a pig! CAN NOT WAIT TO GO!!!!

One Track after you put on a few pound, will you still fit in those tunnels? 5'4" and 240 = no tunnels!

    Speck,
I think Browning is quietly telling you to pick a gun in a real caliber.
