Well no matter how late the spawn is this year it's finally here.
My dad and I caught 11 fish: 4 rock bass, 6 cabazon and 1 lingcod.
My dad's big cabzon ties our record of 20 in, his fish was every bit of 20 in and I'd say 7lbs. He also caught 1 16 in cabazon and 2 rockbass.
I caught a 19 in cabazon that wasn't too shabby. I had 2 rock bass a 13 in, 14.5, 16 and 19 inch cabazon. The lingcod I caught was unexpected and came in at 20 in.
I pulled the 14 and 19 inchers off the same bed from about 3 foot of water. My dad's big 20 wasn't 50 yards away.
