I want to start varmit hunting but I dont have "varmit" gun. The guns I would like to use are a 30-06 and a T/C Contender in a 30/30 cal. Can you get varmit loads for these guns? I would be hunting ground hogs and coyotes.

stingy, shot a lot of coyotes with a 125 gr. bullet out of a 30-06, but wasnt into saving the pelts at that time. It will do a number on em though. Havent had any experience with a 30-30 but I'm guessing your gonna get just about the same results. Welcome to Jesses, I'm sure someone on here can be more help than me.

Were those bullets factory loads or did you reload them? If they were factory loads, what brand were they?
