Hi all, I was just talking to a friend from Wa that will hunt turkey with me this year in NorCal. He wants to know what the season dates are for hogs. I have been looking for a reg at the wallyworld but cant locate any.

Can any of you tell me if hog is open during turkey season ? We are looking to hunt about 30min south of Sac. Thanks for any help. Cameron

Rancho Loco's right....all year, no limit on take, 1 tag for 1 hog...tags are around $18 each I think.

I've killed pigs in grass valley on public land. their aint that much public land in GV so it aint that hard to figure out where I'm huntin at. Pigs within 30 minutes south of sac? Not that I know of maybe an hour but maybe you've already seen them there before?

Spring has always been my favorite time to hunt hogs. I havent had a turkey season yet where I havent seen atleast one at first light while waitin for that gobbler to come in.

    best of luck
