A while back I got a TC contender in .44 Mag. and coverted it to a .223 bull barrel carbine.

Question: The TC has one of the sweetest triggers ever stock (think it is one of the pull the creep out and then 1 or 2 lb. let-off jobbies) and therefore could not past the CA drop test for safety.

Do you guys know if the gun is still on CA non-legal list because of this?

    Exclamation!

    Sorry, but I don't know.

But I do know it burns my arse to hear fellow law abiding gun owners jump through hoops to remain law abiding when they live in CA.

In Kalifornia they have written a exception for single shot pistols, There is a minimum barrel length but I dont recall what it is now . You can have encore pistol now also . I happen to be thompson fan and shoot contender pistol and encore rifle. The pistols will produce rifle like accuracy

I think this is the Min length requirement on single shot pistols.

    (b) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to a single-shot pistol with a barrel length of not less than six inches and that has an overall length of at least 10 1/2 inches when the handle, frame or receiver, and barrel are assembled.

I do believe that the .45\410 is still illegal if it's under 18", something about concealable shotgun or some crap. I think they wanted to get rid of alot of the rifle caliber barrels due to the fact they said they could pierce bullet proof vests and would be a danger to law enforcement.
