I have a chance to buy a al390 sporting version. As I was going to get the walmart version for $529, this one is much nicer for a few $ more. How is the 390 different from the sporting version of the 391, and is the 391 worth $300 more? It fits very well. Is the relaibility good?

Now from what I can gather, the AL390 is last years model and the 391 is the newest model that they offer. ###I have an Al390 in 20 ga. and it is a great gun. ###I use it for all my upland game for the last two seasons. ###I've never had any problems with it yet. ###I might even try it for waterfowl next season.
You might want to try Baretta for a more specific answer. ###Either way you are getting a great gun in my opinion.
