Thanks, John.

I am partial to the Beef Stroganoff with Noodles. The Chili Mac was ok as well.

I remember liking the oriental type rice based meals with either chicken or pork. I don't remember exactly which ones Ipurchased and tried but these sound fairly familiar. Getting hungry?

Chicken Polynesian (Two 10oz servings)
Chicken Teriyaki (Two 10oz servings)
Sweet & Sour Pork w/Rice(Two 10oz serving)
Mexican-Style Chicken with Rice (Two 10oz servings)
Jamaican Style Chicken & Rice (Two 10oz servings)

Always buy the double portions!!!

Chicken Caccitore
Turkey Terazzi
Chill Mac

The only thing I tried and didnt like was the Ciken and rice, made me bloated.
Also I never get any side dishes or desserts

If you can find one called BBQ beef buy LOTS of it . I'd eat that stuff at home . The spaghetti is always good . Noodles and chicken is edible as well . A few have a nasty chemically taste to them . If your going light weight I'd lose the desserts . They're really not that good and just take up weight and space .

I would say its a toss up between the beef strogonoff and the spaghetti, and the worst i've ever tasted was the turky tetrozinni.

My favorite is the Turkey tetrazini.

Saimein or Top Ramen Noodles is the local favorite around here. And at 30 cents a pack, you really can't beat it in terms of weight and price. Otherwise, I like to bring in the heavy stuff whenever possible and make some real soup. Spagetti is good too. Betty crocker mashed potatoes is also good. Sweet potato wrapped in tin foil and burried in the coals is one of my favorites. Powdered soups, MREs, powdered milk and cereal or soy milk and cereal is always real good when your hungry.

Chili mac here. I eat the stroganoff, but it has the texture of ground sponge and snot, not that I've eaten much of those..

The beef jerk "N" off is pretty good. I like the lasgna as well, however the cheese does not seem to reconstitute well. It gets a little sticky on the fork. But if you pack a chunk or two of some sour dough bread, it really compliments the lasgna well.

Ya the sourdough makes the freeze dried stuff taste even that much better.
