I noticed the Rapid River Knifeworks as a sponsor here and was checking out their knives. I really liked the drop point. Looked like nice knives. So anyway, I was on ebay for something else and I decide to do a quick search. I found the Drop Point Bison (like the one in the photo below) listed. I put in a $50 max bid. I had actually forgot about the auction and was packing for a hog hunt and I get an e-mail that I won the bid for $46 and change. It just came today, brand new and looks great. Since RR has them listed at $140 on their site, grabbing a new one on ebay for $46 wasn't too bad of a deal. Overall, I like the feel and the quality of the knife but I haven't had the chance to use it on anything other than the hair on my arm for a quick sharpness test. Too bad it didn't come in on Thursday instead of today, I could have tested it on a hog.

That's a nice looking blade. Keep it dry and it will serve you forever. A-2 is a great steel, many reputable knife-makers use it. Where is a picture of your hog?
Gorgious!! The knife man, the knife..
After seeing their advertisment header I checked out their website and was admiring their knives at a distance. They really look like they didn't miss a detail. Congrats Bargain Hunter!!

Rapid River knife works is just down the road from me and they make an awsome knife. The owner worked for Marbles knives and sights for years and opened his own shop. I hunted mulies with his dad last year and I can tell ya the knife he had opened a mulie up like a zipper.

Beautiful knife, I too have been browsing their website, like a kid in a candy shop
Man, I like that pig as much as I like the knife! Great job on both!
