Default Something's working at Ford......

How many times have we told them to stay the hell out of capitalism? Let the nature of business evolution take its course and all will be well. But Noooooooooo, they intervened in an effort to "save" GM and Chrysler. OK, I'll listen. How are GM and Chrysler doing so far? Really? Well take a look at Ford.....

Default First On Roadside Dead

Guess this does'nt apply to FORD anymore. My first 4x4 was a Urban Cowboy Ford heavy-duty half ton explorer. Then I grew up and became a Chevy like a rock man. Looks like I need to have a mid life crisis and revert to the best selling truck of all time...... Henry must be smiling down from heaven on his great-grandson Bill.

Maybe the consumers revolted and chose the company that declined the auto bail out $. Maybe there CEO is a genius, and suspected such a revolt when he testified with GM Chrysler for there bail outs. Just a thought. S/T

I was a long time MOPAR fan but after the BARRY bailout and takeover, I will never buy a Post Barry Motors CHRYCO or GM product. Its either Toyota or Ford for me.

Default It's pretty simple,

I don't think it has anything to do with bailouts, Ford has better vehicles. I know that there will always be a Ford, Chevy, Dodge rivalry amongst truck owners, but look at all the other vehicles. The chevys just don't stand up to the Fords. Ford has great design, they always have at least one or two hot models, and a good variety to suit many needs. The Mustang in my opinion has always been a tird, but people love it. Mostly girls, but still. Yeah the corvette is faster, but who has 50k to shell on a weekend rider. Just look at the line up comparison and use your eyes. GM can build a hell of a diesel, they got Ford licked on that, but their cars are ugly.
