2010 tax return gun regulation
I recieved an email this morning from a hunting buddy of mine discussing a new regulation requiring all gun owners to declare all weopons on their 2010 tax return or face criminal charges and other assorted criminal violations. I heard about this one before...any truth to this mess?

Even so, I "sold all my guns in a private sale for cash, which has been spent on eco friendly purchases". Thats my story and I'm stikin' to it. S/T

I'm wih ya CS, vote aginst all incumbants in the next primarys, and vote against your towns budget this tuesday. I allways vote for the default budget no matter what. It is still too much but it's better than the expansions they plan every year. S/T

The way you can tell such an email is nonsense is to read carefully.
There is almost always some line in there about "this will become law as soon as it passes the committee, it does not have to pass the Senate because it is a modification of an existing policy."
Whoever sends these things out does not have an 8th grade understanding of government.
You can check it on Snopes, or if you are serious about watching legislation that has a real chance of passing, like this most recent nonsense in CA about handgun ammo you can read the NRA page....
This does not mean I have not gotten it in some version or another 12 times. People just forward and read this stuff with their brains turned off.
