I just finished looking at the fish count for yesterday and it said LIMITS Salmon Grouper. This is a fish I've never heard of or seen. Tried to find a picture under the search menu and didn't come up with anything. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a subspecies of the grouper. Just one of many many nasty looking bottom fish. Check out this link to see a salmon group. It's the fish on the left.

Salmon Grouper are very good eating but one warning... they are prone to having worms and parasites. They will not hurt you at all once the fish is cooked, but they sure are nasty. The most common ones look like white grains of rice embedded in the flesh. If you take a fillet and hold it up to the sunlight you can see them. Not to worry though, it's not like every fish has them. Its just that Salmon Grouper tend to get them more than other rockfish.
