Waite Joins Ruffed Grouse Society as Regional Director

Coraopolis, Pennsylvania - The Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) recently announced that Kenneth N. Waite III will serve as the regional director for New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
A former principal in Stonewood LLC, Waite, 38, holds a BA in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University. He has 14 years of sales experience representing premier fall sporting goods, firearms, ammunition and accessory manufacturers.
In making the announcement, RGS Executive Director and CEO Mike Zagata, said, "Ken understands the intricacies of the position, and I have every confidence that he will be an asset not only to the Ruffed Grouse Society, but also to the sportsmen and wildlife in his region. Ken will bring important leadership, stability and vision to his region as we continue our mission to promote conditions suitable for ruffed grouse, American woodcock and related wildlife and to sustain our sport hunting tradition and outdoor heritage."
A resident of Baldwinsville, NY, Ken's interests include collecting vintage American shotguns, and wildlife and hunting books and memorabilia. In addition to being an RGS member, Waite is a long-time member of the Old Pat's Society of grouse hunters, the Parker Gun Collectors Association, the L.C. Smith Collectors Association and a patron member in the NRA. When not working, he enjoys grouse and woodcock hunting with family and friends.
Following the announcement, Waite said, he plans to build upon his experience and personal relationships with sporting goods dealers, distributors and manufacturers in order to promote and grow the RGS mission in New York and Pennsylvania. His goals include new chapters throughout New York as well as growing existing chapter banquets.
