i am. as well as a few different hunting clubs like cda, sci, nwtf, etc. everyone should be a member especially during times like now.

The NRA Rocks
Just the last few years, but then I have only owned guns the last few years.
Most nights driving home from work I listen to NRA News Show on my Sirius radio in the car. Channel 144 from 6-9 PM weeknights. Beats listening to anything else on the box. Some nights I'll find myself sitting in the car still glued to the show after I pull up in the driveway. Wife thinks I'm nuts, maybe so. Good Stuff. We all need to fight for our 2nd amendment rights.

Got tired of the NRA abandoning us in CA and stuffing my mailbox with useless crap. Joined CRPA and Calguns. Money much better spent. If you want to drive folks away, hire annoying telephone solicitors like the NRA has to harass members at work and home.

I am a member but the phone calls and junk mail got to be rediculous, and I was already a member, but I still donate because no action is exactly what the antis are counting on. DU started doing the same thing and so I pulled my money and stayed with CWA...
Here in CA we have got a legislature full of wingnut liberals who want nothing more than to dissarm all citizens and build big government which equals a dependent nanny state, which barry seems to be copying for the entire nation.

I don't have a lot of money to throw around so I make darn sure where I put my support the org is doing something I can see. I can't recall the last action NRA had here in CA to save my gun rights but I can recall the lawsuits CalGuns and CRPA have filed that effect my gun ownership. The NRA pees a lot of their money down the drain badgering folks WHO ARE ALREADY MEMBERS??????
