Shooting at Ft Hood TX -- 9 Dead
As many as 9 killed in Fort Hood shootings, officials say - CNN.com
Lot's of "unconfirmed" reports right now. Flipping back and forth between the channels. Will have to wait and see what the facts are before I start putting more stuff up here.

LT GEN from Ft Hood just gave a news conference.
12 dead, 31 wounded
1 shooter dead, military.
2 military suspects in custody due to eyewitness reports that possibly more than 1 shooter.
Shooting occured at Readiness Facility where troops do processing for deployments.

Sounds bad, just heard shooters name is Maj malik midal hassan, may have spelled name wrong. Guess that is twice now, the guy who killed the officers in kuwait before the push into iraq, now ft hood.

A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.
Officials were investigating whether Hasan was his birth name or if he may have changed his name, possibly as part of a conversion to Islam
