Looks like I missed a couple of new changes anyway!
According to the new Insurance Form - SEND YOUR INSURANCE APP AND CHECK FOR $13 TO ME...NOT TO BOB BOGGS. MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO BOGGS, BUT INCLUDE IT WITH YOUR APPLICATION WHEN YOU SEND EVERYTHING ELSE BACK TO ME.

Wellll....
We're up to about 10 paid apps already, and about 30 apps out to various folks. It's coming in a little faster this year, mostly because I think all of you guys were on the last trip.
So far, everyone seems to have the right stuff in their packet as well... so thanks for that! Sure saves me a lot of hair loss later.
I know it's too early to start dancing yet, but MAN I'm looking forward to this hunt!

Seriously...
We have about 12 hunters paid up (I need to do a serious count), and about 35 applications currently out the door with about five or six apps still to be mailed.
I haven't heard much about the current PORs, but I believe there's one coming up soon. Hope to get some reports on success and such as soon as it's over.
I'm pretty stoked, but June sure is a long ways off. I need some hawg huntin'!

I haven't been around much..but I did hit the February POR...the rains really tore up the roads and we've had a couple more storms since then.The hog hunting is fantasic, just requires alittle more footwork is all. It should be a non issue by June.
I ran into this guy in the infamous Roadmisser Ridge. Psst hey Speck your road is waiting for you..and I've got the Red Bulls on ice Bro!

Ahhhhhh...... a JHO brother that has a bum wheel too. Glad I won't be the only one. I passed on getting mine fixed until after the Slam because I was afraid it wouldn't be ready in time.

I was trying to put it off, but it's been killing me for awhile. I shoulda been smart and had it done in January. I'm getting it scoped this Friday and I'll be on crutches for three weeks, and racking up the posts.
After that I'll be hitting the trails around the house hard for a month. I've got to be in shape for that tequila, and hopefully a hog like the one you bagged last year...

At this point I've learned to deal with it, and know how far I can push it. If push comes to shove, Speck owes me 3 hog drags, I'll let him haul it out for me and nurse my knee with his tequila. 
I'll be looking for on like the hogzilla that DILPRXO shot up there last month.

Hey all..
Well, there was another computer glitch but I have recovered my data and the most recent batch of applications will go out this week. Mel, Dukemaster, and Dirtpoor, etc. ... your apps are on the way.
If you haven't made up your mind, you've got about three weeks to do it. I'll be handing over the apps to Barbara on 5/21. Then there's Memorial day (come on out to BigDog's!), and the following weekend we'll be smacking hogs with leaden logs!
