SoCal Jackrabbit Hunt

I have NO idea what I'm getting myself into by proposing this, but here goes.

If you're interested in getting together for some jackrabbit hunting on Sunday March, 14, speak up. I'm open to location suggestions, and even flexible on the date. In order to maintain the "Southern California" theme, let's try to limit the range to "south of Carrizo." That still leaves a lot of wiggle room to try to find a location that's workable for folks.

So, with that said, any takers?

I'm up for some rabbit hunting. I have a couple of shotguns, but I like the Ruger 10/22 better. More fun and less damage to the meat. Perhaps the Mojave desert would be a good spot. I'm up for some camping as well. Let me know.

OK, that makes two of us for the jackrabbitt hunt! I'll have a bransd spaking new Henry lever action .22 with me and a Red Label.

I won't be able to do the camping thing, but don't that want to stop you, or anyone else who wants to join you. I'd love to, but I have to be back in LA that night. Mojave sounds good to me. I've never hunted up there, but have been told that there are a few spots open to .22's if you head north on 395. Again, I have never been, but that's what I'm told. Any reccommendations are welcome.

OK, so it looks like we're good to go. Based on the reccommendations I've been getting, we're going to head up to the Mojave over on the back side of Red Rock Canyon on Sunday. Again, any other takers, speak up!
