Hello everyone,
I have just got an airedale terrier and I heard they are used for hunting and I'm interested in training it on birds. There mainly used for flushing so how do you train them on Birds?

I grew up with an Airedale. Awesome dog. We never hunted with the dog. However, I heard that they were bred for hunting lions.

I noticed not many hunters use them but the people who have had them know they are capable to hunt. I have found another forum that is about airedales that hunt so I got some info from them. Alot of the people that use them to hunt use them to hunt and kill there prey mostly animals with fur. I guess ill have to see what I can train it and go from there
