Default Crane Terrier?

My guy had a run-in with this heron on Saturday morning. We were out nosing around in the dark out in undeveloped portion of our area hoping to scare something up. He bayed this heron which was wounded from some unknown incident but still very much able to defend himself.

He was striking pretty good and my dog was fortunately able to dodge and keep distance. I have been on the receiving end of these beaks after trying to free them from my fishing line so they can do damage. Anyway, kinda fun and funny. I was able to take a couple pics and sneak in and take him away from the fun without getting speared...
