This is a give away contest for shotgun gunsmithing work consisting of the installation of a longer forcing cone by Gun Docc who is a member here on the forum and a long time shotgun gunsmith. Gun Docc's website is http://www.guncustomizing.com/
Closest number wins the shotgun work and shipping back to you. You do have to pay shipping to GunDocc in Georgia of your barrel. Lead time for the return of your barrel will be 1 to 2 weeks depending on where you live to account for the shipping time.
A longer forcing cone helps improve your shot pattern. Turkey hunters may not want to install the longer forcing cone as some believe a longer forcing cone does not improve patterns with the tight turkey chokes used.
Please pick one number between 1 and 150. No editing numbers please. Check to make sure your number hasn't already been picked. If you edit or dupe a number you're out of the contest.
Good luck!!

unfortunately Yes , there is no way to lengthen the forcing cone without removing the chrome lining as the lining is only approx .004 to .006 thousandths thick and this gets removed when the forcing cone is reamed out
however after reaming the cone out to the proper length it is polished back to a mirror finish and then burnished to seal the metal surface
Have Fun !
