The timer is made by Ingraham. ######They make several variations but the one you want is the one they typically refer to as digital. ######That is it has a digital display as opposed to a manual knob. ######I know they still make one that has a digital display but they don't mention anything about battery back up. ######The original one that I used (cost about $15) received its power from the 110 volt A/C socket that you plugged it into but it had a battery backup that allowed you to unplug the unit without it losing the correct time. ######It turns out that the clock consumes such a very small amount of power that it will run for several years on a single AA battery. You will need to disassemble the current unit they carry and see if the display will operate via a 1.5 volt battery. If it does, your in luck.
