Anyone know how to change a .bmp file over to a .jpg?? I have a funny picture in e-mail, but it will not let me save it any other way....

I use my photo editing software. I have a different version at home than I have at work. I think once you get it to the allowed size for the siter you then click save as, and you pick .jpg and that should work. I can't get technical with you about it cause I don't really know how. I just kept messing around with it till I figured it out.

You could also try loading it to the Photo Gallery. If it accepts it there then you can just copy and paste the [IMG] link.

If that doesn't work, then e-mail it to me. It's a slow day anyway. I'll convert it for you and either send it back or post it.

You would need to use some type of photo editing software. There are lots of free ones out there but I haven't tried too many because I have a fair bit of software like Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks that I use for image editing.

Here is a link to a site with lots of choices and reviews. Some are freeware and some are shareware. If you can find a free one that works well for you I'd go with that.

One I have tried that is OK is called Irfanview, I think you can get it from download.com. The one I really like for resizing pics is Mihov Image resizer. Works great for shrinking lots of images. It appears to also do conversions but I have never used it for that. I do really like the product though. The website has lots of Mihov utilities and best of all they are FREE
