Those that are having trouble logging back in

Most of the folks having trouble getting their password reset are folks who never checked their email and kept it up to date. It's a simple process really, if you do a password recovery your log on info gets sent to whatever email you have listed here. If your email is incorrect you won't get the password. Folks need to check their spam and trash folders too as some email programs handle this type of auto generated email as spam.

This also applies if you use the contact form here to email us. For that to work you have to supply your correct email address. Typos in email addresses tend to send an email off into deep deep space. Double check what you have before you click send. Please also include your member name to help find your account. Sending a plain "Help!!" email is just a waste of time if we can't figure out who you are.

Passwords and log in names are case sensitive (capital letters matter). You can enter a bazzillion combinations from what you can vaguely remember but if it's not the exact name and log in it's not going to work. The best thing you can do is write down your log in info or create a text file and save it there. IT's up to the member here to keep track of their accounts, with almost 30K members the mods and admins here just don't have time to run and get your log in info every time you can't find it.

If after all that you still can't get logged in please email us and we'll get your account straightened out. To the folks who try once and give up and say they are done with the forum, it's not that hard really. Take a deep breath and it will all work out. Trust us.

Jesse or other mods, i have been trying to get back on this website as THE ROMAN ARCHER but nothing was working. i tried password recovery a few times and that didnt work. then i tried to reregister and it said my email was invalid. i also tried through the contact us and no response, so i finially registerd back on as tra using my wifes email account.
what do i have to do to get my old account back as THE ROMAN ARCHER, it says NICK J now.

Using JHO bookmark in firefox or google for JHO, I get an Invalid forum path message. In google, I can get on site by using Hunting feature. Problem started yesterday.

We deleted the old Invision forum software we used from the server and this appears to have broken a couple URL paths that should be using /forums and not /forum.

RR1, what is the Google "Hunting" feature. Not sure what that is.

Try clearing out your cookie for this forum and re-bookmark the forum. The correct URL for the forum is http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/
