I was on the dfg site when I first heard of the site. That old board was a classic. Then I found Blacktailcountry.com and it was one of the main links. I still check out both

I, like Tominator, used to frequent the old old new old NWTF forum (lot's of bitching going on there as well) and read a post by old Jesse himself about making homebrew game camera's, I came here, left there, and haven't been back (way to hard to make and read post's over there). This is by far, the nicest group of people, and the coolest, most informative web site I have ever found. (howstuffworks.com is a close second):)

Can't believe I missed this thread . . .
I was searching around for websites for SoCal hunting and found Jesse's Geocities page back in the day. I read his site night and say and then he started up the old forum, but never joined. And as they say - the rest is history!
