New sporting goods store in OC. Field Time Sports and Guns
On Beach Blvd. between Bolsa and Hazard. Called Field Time Sports and Guns.
Anyone know anything about it? X said the store was pretty big. They had their grand opening this past weekend.

It's about 2 miles away from where I work. I'll stop by during lunch and post what I find.

I was there last Sunday, and managed to get 2 boxes of CCI small rifle mag primers - the only type they had left other than shotgun 209 primers. From what I hear, they had some good sales stuff on Saturday, the first day of their grand opening. Like 22 LR ammo at a decent price. BUt I didn't see anything like that while I was there. I picked up some tumbler media to save on the shipping cost, and a box of .380 ammo for $14 as my son has discovered my Star .380 "mini-1911."

I should have taken some pictures. (A new gun store in So. Calif is like seeing bigfoot).
Nice store, about twice as large as any Turners. They carry reloading supplies, have a long gun counter and have plans for an indoor Archery range. They should be able to make it just selling ammo for the first year!

From what I saw of the bullets, they were a little more expensive than ordering online like from MIdway or Grafs, but when you add in shipping, they weren't too bad. I didn't get a chance to price the powder, but will check that out when I need some. I bit the bullet a while back and ordered a bunch of 8 and 10 pound jugs from Powder Valley to make the Hax Mat charge worthwhile due to the high prices and lack of choices available from Turner's, Fowler's and the Stockade.

Stopped by today. Looked like a nice store. It looked like they were a little light on the items they have in stock but I'm thinking that they just haven't got everything in since they just opened. Didn't see any real deals but didn't see anything the was priced way out of line either. Didn't even think to ask about primers, wish I had. At least that'll be an excuse to go back next week, LOL. I liked that you could get most of the reloading stuff (except primers and powder) off the shelf yourself instead of having to ask someone to get it for you. Talked to one of the staff named Les, seemed like a nice guy and knowledgeable.
