Maybe America's Team but not mine. World Series
I strongly dislike the Yankees and always have...I would say hate but I was told as a youngster never to use such a strong word. I have never liked them, one reason is their ownership, at least a couple years ago, and I always loved the fact that they had one of the highest salary caps and yet havent won a WS in years...especially in the last 5 years, are you kidding me.
Now I do like certain players becasue of many reasons, ethics, professionalism, and just good people/ball players. These include many of the older generation greats, Yogi Beara, Mantle, Demaggio?, Zimmer, Torre (Manager), Giradi, Mattingly, Williams...ok I like quiet a few guys, but as a organization/team I have never liked them. Another factor maybe...maybe because I am a HUGE Angels fan...but. No, seriously, I am rooting for the Phill's...I think it would be awsome for a back to back in my generation.
1 to 1, but I still think it will be the Phill's in 7.

Yankee's took the second game.
Baseball has the Yankees. Basketball has the Lakers. Too much whining from both.

I agree... They have some talent, but the just fact that lk BUY the players with big $ gets me.
I use to really like Tex before he signed on with the NYY, now he is just high $$

I like the Yankees, and love them or hate them you have to accept they are a real force this season.
It will be a great game 6, and the Yankees will leave the ball park with the title

Cheesesteak Heads Unite!
Go PHILLIES. i'm partial to that name. A South Phillies Original Ray's cheese wit and a Stoudt's lager. Nothing better while watching the Yanks getting the blue kicked out of them

Can't stand players who cheat. Especially ones that were great ball players without them. Hard to root for a guy that has taken steroids. Gotta like Jeter as an athlete for sure though. Keep the rest. Go Phils!

Phils in trouble, 4-1 top of 4. MAtsui is killin them, 2 run dinger and 2 RBI double off Pedro. Petite looks okay for the Yanks.

7-1. Matsui hit another 2 RBI double. Bottom of 5th. It's ugly for Phils fan. Bronx cheer goin earlier, "Who's your daddy" towards Pedro. Goes back to 2004 comment Pedro made about Yankees and their daddy.

Is Arod finally getting some wood on the ball? Seems a shame to pay him so much when you can't rely on him during post season

I'd say A-Rod has erased the post season stigma. He's been hot with the stick. Matsui is crushing the poor ball.

Matsui is a real dark horse hey, and good on him for coming through in the pinch.
My kids love him, how he stands perfectly still till the pitch then just belts the covers off it

Yanks win, BOUT time with those players...
Its all over boys...5 more months until it starts all over again. Wonder who will be moving...Angels need some pitching and get rid of Vladi. I would also dump Abreu, I think he garbage.
I wonder what they are going to do with the Phils closer, he really blew it like a dozen times this year.
Ok, its ok, I still got college football for another 3 weeks or so. Then I dont know what I will do?
