Be great if someone knew where we could find Lowell (Boartracks). I lost all his contact info when my old computer went south, but last I heard he was headed over that way.
Heck, he may be back by now.

You don't even have to send something that costs a lot, a letter just saying hello and how are you is such a welcome sight when overseas. The days get long and any reminder of home here in the USA is always gratefully accepted.

Here is one from a buddy of mine who is registered here(been a while as warpig) but he served 10 in the USMC and has a cousin across the puddle!
Here's the email I got from pig.
Here is the information for my cousin stationed in
Iraq. I guess he's been blowed up a couple times but
has managed to escape the worst.
Ssgt Alfred Luna
Alpha Troop, 1/4 Cav, 4IBCT 1ID
FOB Falcon
APO-AE 09348
FOB is the Forward Observation Base guess the boy is
way up front again. He is home with his mom due to a
triple bypass surgery she just went thru and will be
heading back into country on Saturday. If you can pass
this on to the hunting page that will be nice.

I just noticed this thread and it really touched my heart!!!! I know what these care packages mean when you receive one first hand... I served in the 1st Gulf War and received care packages from different people that I didn't even know and become good friends with one family from Morro Bay. It really shows the support because when your that far away your cut off from the world you use to live in. Anyways kudos to Jesse and his staff and the all the members on here.. you make a difference all the way around.... Thanks...

My kids 4-h Group just put together some care packages. The best deal going is the Priority mail flat rate box. $8.95 (I think) regardless of weight. YOu can get a lot of stuff in that box if you pack it right.

Just noticed this thread, and while my unit is getting short on time here, I'll be sure to post up an address for our replacements when they get here. As for the flat-rate box, it really is the best deal going, had a buddy send out a HUGE stack of magazines all stuffed into one of those boxes and the thing weighed a good 30lbs.
