Default heres a good one!{remodel related}

a buddy of mine called me and asked if $21,000.00 was 'right' for a kitchen remodel?
asking a few questions...I was informed,,, it was for a buddy of his ,,,AND
that the 21 grand was just for refacing cabinet doors and a new countertop!
I couldnt believe it ! long story ,,short.I'll be installing all new cabinets,countertop,sink,faucet,etc for about $11 grand,,,,saving the guy around $10 grand !

Amazing !!! $21 grand for a countertop and refaced doors!!!!
what were those guys thinking ??? Trying to recover from this recession in one job ????

ps; 'those guys' are one of those that ALWAYS advertise all over.

11K? It's either small kitchen or your using Euro modular casework made from 1/2" material
Countertop included for that price.

I wouldn't touch a kitchen fro less than 9K no counters but this is custom work, no MDF crap and all 3/4: material

naaaaugh,,,this is just installing prebuilt cabs,nice granite countertop,sink,faucet,dishwasher,disp,etc.
adding a few more outlets,gfci,tile floor.
but we're doing all this for less than the "refacing" cost.The homeowner is extremely happy about the whole deal ! When the wifey was informed it was her job to pick out cab style and tile pattern/color,,,she almost went shopping right away !
