Went out today to the local fishing hole, looking for bass and stripers, and ended up catching a whole mess of crappie. I usually use a small, Mr. Twister grub, with a spinner to catch crappie, but thats usually during the spawn. They're biting now, but they're a little picky. Today I was using live mini crawlers on a bobber. It was tons of fun. Brings back the good ol' days of being a kid. Also a great method to use for those of you that do have young kids, it's a lot of fun.

I'm not fishing a lake, I'm actually fishing the Port of Sacramento. Many lakes should be heating up real soon though, but I haven't got a chance to go check them out.
