1. this weekend i shot a deer and messed my came up. at the shot the bow recoiled forward sending the lower portion of my bow back into part of my stand. the cam on my mathews FX hit the seat rail of my stand putting 2 gowdges in the track the string rides in. it also cut the serving on the lower portion of my string. it still shoots fine and i filed the gowdges out, but i want to get it fixed. any idea how much a max cam for a mathews bow costs?

2. thinking about trying magnus 2 blade heads. does anyone hear use them and if so do you like them?

i love the 2 blade magnus. they shoot like a field tip and there is no tuning. they sharpen in the blink of an eye and are deadly with a nasty bloodtrail.

I shoot the Magnus 125gr two-blades. They're accurate, and pretty close to my field tips. Haven't shot anything but hay bales and apples with them so far, though.

I really wouldnt worry about the cam unless its bent. Id just re serve your string and make sure the dings are filed down. As far as the costs of a cam.....im not sure. Friend of mine switched the cam on his Feather Max to a Pope and Young legal let off but im not sure what the cost was. I re served his strings the other day and his cam is all tore up from setting it on concrete and droping it. Still seems to work ok.

Call Mathews and tell them what happened. Ask how much they are. You never know they just might give you one.

Good Luck.
