Tomorrow starts the second half of A22. I think I'll pass this weekend and hit it up next week while everyone's at work.
Went up today and checked my cam. I got up there about 0900 and it was warm. Looking at the NWS website it's been cold. It is extremely dry up there. Even walking in the pine needles sounded like walking on potato chips.
Cam didn't have many pictures on it. A couple of does and a spike with what appears to be does. I'm down to 1 cam. The other two died on me. I moved it to a new spot and we'll see what happens. Lots of sign in the dust.
Did see a doe on the way in. I first saw her she was standing in the road at about 40 yds and when I got where she left the road she was about 15 yds in the brush. She stood there and watched me drive by.
Good luck to those of you that go this weekend.
