I have one but only for a couple of months. I havent had it on a trip yet. I did purchase a spike duffle, you can slide it in the "mesh" middle area to keep your gear enclosed and drier. That way the pack would be 4500ci but it can be that size by just using the mesh. Now if you want the pack to be fully functional you zip it to the outside of the mesh area and it becomes 7000ci.
The reason I did buy the duffle is if I did need to pack out meat using the mesh area I would need a place to place my other gear......by the way I think its a great pack.
