Default trinity alps in november

so iv got some time off next week and would like to make one last backpacking trip up high before theirs to much snow. anyone ever been up into the trinity alps hunting in late November? is the bear hunting still good up high, i know i see tons of bears in earlier season but iv never done a trip after the deer already have moved down so i don't know how the bear hunting will be this late. should i bring the 12 ga instead and look for chucker? any other recommendations for a fun last backpack hunt for the year maybe the yolla bollys or somewhere in a x-zone? thanks y'all

westcoastr is on a distinguished road
Default

snow is hit or miss in Nov. but if you and experienced backpacker with some snow/winter camping experience you should be fine. what the heck, might as well bring the 12 ga with slugs and shot for bear and birds, although I've never looked for chukars there. yollas are great, and not crowded at all
