working with a 2yr old [my first yodeling lessons]

great t o see this forum. hopefully be pack,n again soon? a week before easter i was working with a young mustang, got a little to close to the saddle horn and recieved some yodeling lessons. very painful had to grab the corral and drag my broke a$$ off. i laid on the ground face down and screaming in pain for about 20 min till the pain subsided some.tried to get up but could not. so i drug myself back to my house which took hours. drug my self in my wife threw a mattress on the floor and there i layed till the next day think'n i might feel better.[whos thinking dumbass?]. the next day my wife took a look at injuries and from the look on her face i knew i was headed to town. after a ct scan it was an ambulance ride to stanford. fractured my pelvis in a couple places and some other inernal fix'n up. was told not to put any weight on my feet for two months. i wanted to ask the doctor how long it would be before i could climb back in the saddle. but could not do it with my wife beside me. got home sat. got 2 options for 2 months bed or wheelchair. need to lay down now my butt hurts hope i'm back for A season?

I feel your pain brother. Three weeks ago I was trying to finish break a 7yr old (15.3hn) freshly cut paint stud. I saddle him up and hit the pavement. Two bucks forward and one rear back and my head slams the pavement. Thats all I remember. My buddies said I was out cold for a few minutes. The only good thing about getting knocked out is that I can't remember if it hurt or not.. My wife took me also to the hospital for a ct scan. Doc said only a concussion. "Dodged another bullet". Really sorry to hear about your injury. Thats going to be a hard one to heal and probably even harder one once you get back in the saddle. Good luck on the recovery.....
P.S. "True Story"; I actually sold my dirt bike about twelve years ago and bought my first horse because I thought that horses would be much safer. Looking back, I still wonder if I should have not sold the bike.

Years ago when I thought I was a cowboy I got thrown from a mean sob and as I was going foward over the saddle I caught my n--- on the horn. As I lay thier on the ground looking at the sky thinking what to do next that sob came back at me thinking he wasn't finished with me yet, he tryied to stomp my a-- into the ground,he caught my left calf muscle as I was rolling under the fence. If I got knocked out I wouldn't be typeing this to you right now. Never learned my lesson,still rideing. Good luck on your recovery brkarrow.
