transferring markers

has anyone else had a this problem. i have maptech's terrain navigator and a lowerance globalmap 100 GPS. when i bring up terrain nav. and conect my GPS to the computer to tranfer markers, as soon as i connect the GPS the cursor on the computer starts jumping around and i am unable to complete the transfer. can some one help?

Certainly no expert here but how is the GPS connected? serial port? If so make sure the GPS is turned OFF when making the connection. Turn it on after it's connected. If it's USB then I have no clue. (Well, my wife would say I have no clue anyway.)

Look in Terrain Navigator, GPS, Setup, Lowrance, then model type. I don't ###see the Globalmap 100 on the list of Lowrance models that interface with Terrain Navigator. You could E-mail support at Maptech to ask about the problem. Perhaps there will be an update to download from the Maptech website that will include the Globalmap 100.
