New to the Forum

Hello, I am also a member of a different forum, while there is still alot of great guys/gals there, there seems to be a real infusion of "new blood" that I do not really get a good feeling about. ###I suspect some of you have too, and have come here or gone elsewhere. ###I enjoy trading back and forth experiences, asking for and passing on advice, and occaisionally voicing my opinion, but, I don't expect every post to be a debate. ###

I hope to "talk" with you all soon.

Welcome FarmHunter. We have a great bunch of people coming in and out of the forum. Lots of good info being passed. We have our debates now and then but they are mostly in good taste.
Feel free to jump in with any questions, answers or opinions.

Big Dog is right. This is a good friendly forum, 99% of the people are great people as well as helpfull. I know I'm glad to have corresponded with several of them, and I do what I can to help others here.

I first got into the whole "forum" thing and "message boards" with Allcoast Sportfishing. ###It was real cool when it got started, but now its totally huge and is very intimidating. ###There are guys who post so much that they must not have a life.

I love this board, everybody seems to give sound advice and there seems to be a sort of fraternity of hunters I guess. ###It seems like every thread I read has something along the lines of "we'll have to meet up someday" or "I'm the guy with the such and such colored truck, come by and say hi".

Welcome Farmhunter. ###I too have started on other forums but usually got upset when a simple question or comment turned into a bitching match. ###I found Jesses page and have not and will not return to the other forums. ###I've been a member for a couple of months now and not once have I seen a bitching match.

I'm from PA in a CA forum(go figure) and don't go anywhere else anymore. Some of those other one's are so big you kind of feel like no one in particular is out there. This is the only place I've found that you can go :MN and people actually laugh instead of hang you.
