I know this has probably been hashed to death, but I can't decided between the 2200 and the 2800. I want something that would be comfortable and not to big to hunt with on. Is the 2800 bulky? how does it compare with the 2200?

I am thinking if I get the 2800 is would be more comfortable than having the same amount packed in the 2200, and the extra room would be great if I want to go for longer backcountry hunts or bag an animal.

Help me decided. Thanks

I would go with the 2800, you can always compress it to make it smaller. Badlands make a great pack.

I have the 2800 and love it. It can be cinched down to nothing or expand to carry enough for a 2-3 day bivy hunt. I've never owned a backpack that was this well built and used top of the line materials. I want to borrow someones 4500 before I buy one of those. Ed F
