I am from Roanoke, Virginia which is right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Roanoke is referred to as the "Star City of the South" because of a very large man-made neon star that sits atop a mountain over looking the city. It can be seen from many miles away. In fact, I hunt land that is 22 miles from the star and I can see it at night from my treestand. Great hunting all around us.

### There's some nice bucks in there last september while paying some respects a high and wide 3 x 3 ran out in front of us. I followed him ###down the road ###a little ways as he bounded over graves and flowers. A month later saw a fawn that had been eaten by coyotes on the way to check it out 6 does and 15" or so forky ran right in front of our truck up a trail to the hills. Theres deer up there from rose hills out to Brea canyon road, all the old chevron oil lands.
