The first picture is my aircraft the one with all the colors, and the second a friend of mine. I built both of the aircraft a few years ago. The picture was taken in Omaha Nebraska in the year 2000. We left south Ga. and visited all the lower 48 states.

The next picture is a shot taken while I flew over LA. durning the trip.

That is another dream of mine ..(drooling in envy)...to have an ultralight. ###I looked into getting a pilot's license, but there are so many expenses attached to having a real airplane that I decided an ultralight will eventually be the way to go. ###Although, those powered parachutes look awfully appealing.
Thanks for sharing that! ###I am an airplane nut!
Man that is an awesome ride.
Great job Curtiss.

Curtiss,
### Very nice machines. I have a couple of friends who fly out of Herbert Smart Airport in Macon, Ga. I am sure you have run into them at a fly in or two. They make the Barnsville, SC and FL fly in every year. I have spent several hours with them and their machines.... tuning, improving and assembling/disassembling. Gyro's are amazing little aircrafts. Please share some specs on your machine. Their machines are Maxie Wild's work. ###

Cedar N Sandy, ###My very first student, I trained at Herbert Smart. I know Steve McGowen and Maxie very well. I signed Maxie to get it private license. I haven't seen Steve in several years now, since when we have the airshows, I am usually out of the country. Steve signed me to get my private many years ago. Steve and I are the only gyro CFI's in Georgia.
### ###If you see Steve, tell him that I say Hello. If not, I will see him in Florida this April.
### ###Take care.

Curtiss,
### I'll tell Steve and the guys when I see them. Sounds like you have spent some quality time at the "Flyin Low" hanger also. Great bunch of pilots. Bo has taken some great aerial photos of my hunting property. He is looking to buy a 2 place machine...... then I can go up with him :). ### ###
Very neat curtiss!
Do you have any links where i can see some more pics of yours or other's machines? On the ground or in flight will do...Thanks

Just so I'm clear on this, you flew that little thing over all 48 states?? ###I wouldn't have the cajones to do a trip like that in a little aircraft like yours (no offense intended). ###I'm white knuckling the whole time I'm in the air when I'm in my buddy's Beechcraft Bonanza. ###Very cool, thanks for sharing the pictures.
Regards,
Paul

While training for my pilots license, I had to do a solo cross country. ###I flew from NE Missouri to Jefferson City. ###While flying south, I was looking at a runway diagram (normally North is at the top of the map). ###When the tower told me to land on runway 180, I looked at my map and started my approach. ###As I was flying over the end of the runway I noticed the numbers 90 which is normally at the other end of runway 180. ###... what the f***... ###I was flying into oncoming traffic. ###I had been flying south with north at the top of my map. ###Oops. ###Needless to say, I don't fly anymore.

Very nice flying machines indeed.
That would be a great way to get into public hunting land that's been landlocked by private lands.

Curtiss,
Are you going to the Sun & Fun fly-in. ###I was thinking about taking the family over. ###It looks like a pretty good show. ###Air show every day. ###Maybe we'll see you there.
