Five Charged in Northeast Kingdom Poaching Case

WATERBURY, VT - Five Northeast Kingdom men have been charged for poaching deer in September.

On September 14, a search warrant was executed at the Mike McFarland residence in West Charleston. Evidence was seized at the McFarland residence, including illegal deer meat, a rifle, spotlights and two motor vehicles.

As a result of the investigation, Vermont State Game Warden Robert Lewis of Derby has cited the following persons into Orleans District Court:

Tony Hebert, age 26, of Brownington for taking deer by illegal means.

Michael McFarland, age 22, of West Charleston, for possession of deer taken in closed season.

John Glover, age 18, of West Charleston, for possession of deer taken during closed season.

Joseph Blake, age 20, of Derby Line, for possession of deer taken in closed season.

William Patenaude, age 36, of Newport, for possession of deer taken during closed season.

Now just need a judge with a clue card to sentence them to what they deserve! http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-guillotine.gif Wardens go through a lot to make a case and judges let scumbags off with a hand slap. Gets me pissed off
