Email hoaxes and chain emails waste bandwidth on the Internet, tie up servers and cost people their valuable time by requiring them to read the garbage and delete it.

We've all received the emails about dying kids, Microsoft paying us to do work for them etc. If the email says it's urgent and to forward to all your friends it's a hoax or chain e-mail.
