June 26, 2002 9:45 am ET

M-Systems has announced a new version of its DiskOnKey storage device, now with 512MB of storage capacity. The new DiskOnKey model is differentiated through its translucent green neck color.

DiskOnKey devices store data on flash memory and connect to Windows or Mac OS-equipped systems using a USB interface. Small enough to fit on a keychain, the DiskOnKey is useful for graphic designers, photographers, systems managers, educators and anyone else who needs to transport data from one system to another quickly and easily, according to M-Systems.

DiskOnKey devices are already available in capacities ranging from 8MB to 256MB, with prices ranging from US$29.99 to $249.99. The new 512MB model tips the scales at $499.99. DiskOnKeys are available from various online retailers.
