I stopped by the X Tools booth at ICAST and took a look at what they had.

All of their tools have one thing in common. They float.

I took a look at their basic pliers which come in 6.5 and 9 inch. They are made from a lightweight, but strong tungsten carbide. The handles are a made of their trademark green foam. They really seemed like they could take a licking.

The blades on their filet knife seemed to have that razor edge we all like when we are trying to get all the meat we can off of that albacore.

They have everything from basic pliers to full length gaffs that float as well.

Keep an eye out for their new Floating Metal Pliers. These babies pack several features like replaceable jaws that can cut 400lb mono, 250lb braid and 105lb steel. Their bright green foam handles are ergonamically designed and are comfortable to grip.

Chime in if you have used any X Tools. Let us know what you think.
