For those of you that hunt Northern AZ for small game, it looks like the extra rainfall this winter/spring has helped the small game population.
I've been camoping and hunting coyotes in the Blue Ridge reservoir area and the numbers look good for fall hunting.
Oh, and Gambels Quail are thriving throughout the low and high desert areas in central and southern AZ.
Squirrel and Quail open October 7. And cottontails and Jacks are open 365 days a year.
