Junior Mobility Impaired Pheasant Hunt

Just wanted to pass along info regarding the junior mobility impaired pheasant hunt info for this year. Hunt date is set for Oct. 30th, 2005, there will be a morning and afternoon hunt available. This particular hunt is held within Sutter Co. at the Nelson Slough Wildlife Area. For an application, if you want it now call my office (530) 671-9250 and I will mail one to you, if you don't mind waiting a little while until the Wing Beat News is published by DFG, current issue coming soon, paper copies will be in sporting goods stores or online shortly. Any hunts for disabled adults/veterans ?

Hopefully next year we will be having more "offerings". There has been some discussion regarding expanding to family hunts as well as adult mobility impaired disabled hunts for 2006. I will be posting info as it happens and/or once approved and cleared with our county F&G Commission. The time frame on this will be about March 2006 before decisions are made, until then please be patient.
On a little different note, it sure would help if more individuals were to become involved in the local F&G Commissions, most county commissions are screaming for help. If everyone would put a little time in locally, not just with all the non-profit sources, RMEF, MDF, etc., (ALL NEEDED< NO BASHING HERE) we sure could spread our "butter" further on the bread.
If you don&#39;t know how to find your local Commisssion, go to your county public works department, county Supervisors, they will point you in the right direction. And WE SURE COULD USE THE HELP.
